"We are just like second-century Rome and Greece.
We are declining as a nation because our leadership
and our government now use farce to state
their cases, and there are too few people who are
willing to stand up and challenge that,
including the media. Consequently, the very tenets
of our liberty are going to be taken away."
--Rep. Tom Coburn

For those of you who tell me you can never find my guestbook,
I've added a new one:)
Be sure to stop in and sign!
*Note* This guestbook does not support html.
(Or maybe it does. Who's to know anymore?
It is also not 1969, which would make me 18:).

There is an Indian proverb which says
that everyone is a house with four rooms
- a physical, a mental, an emotional,
and a spiritual. Instead of doing
most of our living in just one room,
we must visit each room every day
in order to be complete.
This is what I am searching for ~
the balance.

My love & thanks to Bunny for this award!
What are best friends for anyway?

I was pleased to receive this Thank You
from my former sisters at Diva of the Net because
it meant that Rose's beautiful website
received the Diva Love Award. This award is
given to deserving sites which either focus
on children or have specific pages created for
the love of children.
Congratulations, Rose:)
Please click on the image above to see why she was
so deserving of this special award.

You are listening to the MIDI music of J. James, who was affectionately known as "Laf." You may visit his library to listen to more MIDI selections by clicking on the link near the top of this page. Laf may no longer be with us, but his words and poetry live on.
